I'm interested in hearing peoples opinions on this article! Anyone here actually sell cars that can validate this story? It kind of makes you feel bad for the poor salesmen/women (lol).

Well, I took my first trip Saturday to two car dealerships in search of purchasing my new truck. After reading story of the undercover salesman, one can't help but think about all of the control tricks that were mentioned. The first one was a Toyota dealership. The salesman were lined up in front, with their coffee cups and smoking cigarettes. The first thing I noticed about the gentleman that came to me was that he had on a gold tie. I could only think about the story again. I tried using the reverse psychology on him and for the first time, I actually felt in control.
