My name is Ben, one of the admins here. I too am from the very snowy state of Maine. I have a great interest in personal finance and enjoy sharing this information with other people of similar interests, or who need a little bit of help.
I don't subscribe to one particular "one size fits all" personal finance method. However, I do enjoy reading authors such as Robert Kiyosaki(Rich Dad), Thomas Stanley(Millionaire Next Door), Dave Ramsey, Shira Boss, and David Bach to name a few.
If I were to describe my personal fiance ideas as a political candidate I would be a moderate conservative.
